The point you become hoggish, and hope to get "lucky", is the time you lose all of your money. Seems a little strange, but it seems to be factual. It seems the only time I ever win cash is when I don’t worry about blowing it. I decided to go to the the casino the other evening with $20 in cashin my pocket. I could not care less about losing it, who cares about twenty dollars? So guess what happened? I ended up leaving with $120 in profit in just one hour!
A different occassion I headed to the casino with my friend Steve. I went in with 100 dollars that I couldn’t afford to squander. I got hoggish, I got worried, and I ended up wagering too much and losing it in 30 mins! The lesson is never wager anymore than you can afford to lose. If you don’t care about losing, you have a lot more chance of succeeding big!
What other ways can you increase your chances of winning at Roulette besides creating a budget? Never wager on individual numbers! Yes, they come up every once in a while, but they do not come up often enough to guarantee a dependable profit. Only bet on even wagers e.g. red, black, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 wagers for example 1st dozen, 2nd dozen, 3rd 12, etc Bet on odds that pay fairly big.
With the basics covered, how else can we further increase our chances of winning at Roulette? By turning probability into our friend, as opposed to our mortal enemy. "You can’t be a winner at Roulette", my buddy Charles would say to me. "It is absolutely random due to the fact that any number can come up". Sure, my friend Ben has a point, but at the same time, he is overlooking an important aspect of the picture. I absolutely agree, red or black could come up 30 times in a row, but how often does that happen?
