The point you become insatiable, and pray to get "lucky", is the day you squander all of your money. Sounds a little weird, but it appears to be true. The only time I ever come away with money is when I don’t care about losing it. I decided to go to the the casino the other night with 20 dollarsin my pocket. I couldn’t care any less about losing it, who cares about 20 dollars? So guess what happened? I left with $120 in profit in a few hours!
Another time I was at the casino with my buddy Bob. I took with me 100 dollars that I could not afford to lose. I got greedy, I got scared, and I ended up betting too much and squandered it in 32 minutes! The lesson is never bet more than you are able to squander. If you don’t care about squandering, you have a lot more opportunity of winning big!
How else can you improve your chances of succeeding at Roulette other than setting a budget? Never wager on individual numbers! Sure, they come up every once in a while, but they do not come up often enough to guarantee a steady profit. Just wager on 1:1 bets e.g. red, black, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 wagers e.g. 1st 12, second dozen, third dozen, etc Wager on odds that pay out pretty high.
With the basic rules reviewed, how else might we further elevate our odds of winning at Roulette? By making probability into our ally, instead of our mortal enemy. "You can’t be a winner at Roulette", my friend Charles would say to me. "It’s completely arbitrary because any number could come up". Yes, my buddy Chris certainly has a point, although at the same instance, he is missing a crucial part of the picture. I totally agree, red or black can hit 30 times in a row, but how often does that happen?
